Lyptus Kitchen Cabinet Design
Lyptus is an exotic hardwood that is sustainably grown on environmentally-managed South American plantations. Similar in hardness and pricing to Maple, Lyptus has a variable coloration and grain that brings fine Mahogany to mind. It has a naturally warm, deep coloration that darkens a lot with age. Hickory Cabinet Design
Hickory is a heavy, dense wood that displays vibrant, unpredictable grain patterns and wide variation in color. It is the outgoing extrovert of the hardwood family. Lighter stains make this natural variation the most evident, while darker stains tend to mute it. Hickory costs slightly more than Oak. [gallery link="file"]

Alder Kitchen Cabinet Design
Alder is a fine-grained hardwood similar to Cherry, Birch, and Maple. Pale yellow (tan) to reddish brown in color. Alder is a soft, light wood with even texture and straight grain that accepts stain well.[gallery link="file" columns="4"]
